About the graduate programme

It has never been a more exciting time to join Uisce Éireann, a rapidly growing organisation. Each year, we look for ambitious and talented graduates to join us in transforming Ireland's water services.

For 2026, the focus is on two specialist streams: Engineering and Business Operations.

How it works

Both streams last 2 years. It's a unique opportunity to work across diverse projects and stakeholders. A number of permanent positions are on offer at the end of the programme. Graduate positions can be based in our Cork or Dublin offices.

To gain broad exposure, graduates spend 8 months with each of these 3 areas:

Eligibility

For both streams, you should have:

  • Graduated in 2026 or have recently graduated within the last two years with an honours degree
  • The legal right to work in Ireland for the duration of the programme
  • A BEng degree in any engineering discipline for the Engineering stream and a Business/Commerce/BIS or related degree for the Business Operations stream

Graduate programme FAQs

No. We look for potential, curiosity, and problem solvers who want to make a real impact.

The graduate programme is 2 years, starting each September.

Graduate roles are based in Cork or Dublin. Most roles support hybrid working depending on team requirements.

Applications open in September. The process includes an online application, assessments/interviews and a final offer stage. Follow us on LinkedIn and check back to this page for updates.

Many graduates secure permanent roles, depending on performance and opportunities.

You’ll take part in a dedicated graduate induction, join welcome events and meet your team and manager.
