Uisce Éireann crews are working to locate and repair a burst water main in Youghal, which may result in supply disruption to customers in the area overnight and into the morning.
As a result of the burst, reservoir levels in the area have depleted. Crews have been deployed to carry out repairs and restore normal water supply as quickly as possible.
Niall O’Riordan, Water Operations Manager, Cork, said: "Our crews are on site and will be accurately identifying the burst location tonight and carrying out works to repair the burst in the morning in order to restore normal water supply to customers as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience that a loss of water supply causes for homes, businesses, and the wider community, and we thank customers for their patience while these essential repairs are carried out.”
