Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water supply to customers in Cappamore, Foileen, Kilruagh, Turagh, Dromclogher, Gortavalla, Brackyle, Bilbao, Shanacloon, Pallasgreen and surrounding areas in County Limerick.
Following operational issues at Cappamore Water Treatment Plant, some customer may experience a loss of pressure and disruptions to their water supply. Repairs are underway and water supply is expected to be fully restored to customers by 12pm (midday) tomorrow, Wednesday 01 October.
Alternative water supplies are available in the form of bottled water, which can be accessed at Mansells Cross Reservoir.
Uisce Éireann’s Water Operations Manager, Eoin O’Connell has assured customers that every effort is being made to fully restore water supply as quickly as possible. “We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage, and we thank customers for their support and patience while repair works continue.”
