Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann crews are working to repair a burst water main in North Inner City Dublin and restore water to customers affected.
The burst is impacting customers in Fitzgibbon Street, Frederick Street North, Dorset Street, Gardiner Row, Summerhill, Gardiner Place and surrounding areas in Dublin 1.
Uisce Éireann’s Keith Conmy has assured customers that every effort is being made to restore a full water supply as quickly as possible.
“This is a significant burst and will take some time for repairs to be completed. In the meantime our operations teams are working to redirect supplies to minimise the number of customers impacted. We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our works continue.”
Repairs crews are on site and have isolated the section of pipe that has burst. Further updates will be provided in due course.
To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs to the burst and the safety of the public, traffic management will be in place and will be clearly signposted.
