Crews responding to burst main in Oranmore

Uisce Éireann crews are responding to a burst on a water main which is impacting supply to customers in Oranmore this evening.
The burst has occurred on a main at Beech Grove, to the south of Oranmore village. Customers in Oranmore and Maree may experience water outages or other supply disruptions this evening as a result of this burst.
Crews are currently mobilising to the site of the burst and repairs are estimated to be complete by 10pm tonight.
Ger Greally, Uisce Éireann Water Operations Manager, said that crews will work as quickly as possible to isolate and repair the burst on the main and restore normal supply.
“We acknowledge the inconvenience that can be caused by an unplanned outage such as this,” said Ger. “We want to assure impacted homes and businesses that all efforts are being made to resolve this issue and restore supply as efficiently as possible.”
