Crews working to repair burst main near Killarney

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are on site and working to repair a burst water main near Killarney since morning.

Customers in the Brennan’s Glen and Lawlor’s Cross areas near Killarney may be experiencing water outages or low pressure. It is estimated that repairs will be completed by 6pm this evening.

Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers affected by an unplanned outage. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.

Vulnerable customers registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for both planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. To register as a vulnerable customer or as an alternative contact, please visit our Vulnerable Customers page. Updates are available on our Water Supply Updates section.
