Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore normal supplies to Meelin, Lismire, Tullylease and surrounding areas in Co Cork where customers are currently experiencing no water or low pressure.
Repair works are expected to continue into tomorrow (Saturday) morning, and it may take a number of hours for normal supply to return to all areas following the completion of the works.
Alternative water supply tankers will be located near the GAA pitches in the villages of Meelin, Lismire and Tullylease from 11:00am on Saturday 16th August.
Uisce Éireann’s Michael Bell assured customers that every effort is being made to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible.
“We understand the inconvenience that unplanned outages can have. Crews have been mobilised to address this unplanned outage and we wish to thank customers in the area for their patience while the works are underway.”
