Essential maintenance works to safeguard supply taking place in Ard an Rátha tomorrow
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Ard an Rátha and surrounding areas that essential reservoir cleaning works will be carried out tomorrow (Friday).
These planned works at Ard an Rátha Reservoir are part of Uisce Éireann’s ongoing efforts to safeguard the quality and reliability of the water supply for homes and businesses across Co Donegal.
While a bypass system is in place to help minimise disruption for customers on Na Gleannta-Ard an Rátha Public Water Supply, some customers may experience reduced water pressure, temporary discolouration, or intermittent supply during or after the works.
Crews will endeavour to restore supply to normal levels as quickly as possible once works are completed.
Uisce Éireann’s Damien O’Sullivan said: “These reservoir cleaning works are essential to safeguarding the quality and reliability of the water supply for communities across Donegal. Our crews work carefully throughout the process to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum, and we thank customers for their patience while this important maintenance work continues.”
The works will be carried out between 8am and 6pm, tomorrow (Friday).
