Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann is introducing overnight pressure management to conserve water for customers in Tipperary Town in an effort to safeguard daytime supplies.
The restrictions will be in place from 10pm until 6am, starting tonight Wednesday, 8 October and will continue every night until Monday, 13 October.
Pierce Faherty, Uisce Éireann Water Operations Manager in Tipperary has assured customers that every effort is being made to restore supply to normal levels: “These measures are necessary to ensure continuous daytime supply for homes and businesses. Demand remains high across the network, so we’d like to appeal to customers to conserve water where possible. Uisce Éireann crews are also carrying out leak detection and repair works in the area.”
