Essential overnight water restrictions in place this weekend in areas of East Limerick
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Oola and Herbertstown, that overnight supply restrictions are required to conserve water and maintain a daytime supply. Starting tonight, Friday 22 August, overnight restrictions will be in place over the course of this weekend from 10pm until 7am each night until Monday morning.
During these times, customers in Oola and Herbertstown may experience interruptions to supply, or reduced water pressure.
Uisce Éireann’s Water Operations Manager, Eoin O’Connell says: “We understand the inconvenience nighttime restrictions can cause to our customers; however, given the increased high summer demand, we need to ensure a daytime water supply is available for homes and businesses while we allow reservoir levels time to recover. We are asking customers to be mindful of their water usage during this time.”
