Essential overnight water restrictions required for Cappamore and surrounding areas

Crews are working to restore water supply to impacted customers

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Due to operational issues on the Cappamore Foileen Water Supply Scheme, overnight supply restrictions are required to conserve water and maintain a daytime supply. Overnight restrictions will be in place tonight, from 11pm, until 7am tomorrow morning, 01 October.

During these times, customers in Cappamore, Foileen, Kilruagh, Turagh, Dromclogher, Gortavalla, Brackyle, Bilbao, Shanacloon, Pallasgreen and surrounding areas may experience interruptions to supply, or reduced water pressure.

Given the operational issues at the Water Treatment Plant, we need to ensure a daytime water supply is available for homes and businesses while we allow reservoir levels time to recover overnight. We continue to ask customers to be mindful of their water usage during this time.

For tips on how to reduce your water usage visit the Water Conservation. The website also includes an easy-to-use conservation calculator to calculate how much water customers are currently saving and how to conserve even more.
