Uisce Éireann is carrying out planned routine flushing of the water network in the Smear area in the coming week.

As a result, customers in Smear, Rossduff, Lornadrung, Enaghan, Lisaherty, Drumhalry, Gleenrath, Dunbeggan, Polladoey, Aghakine, Rathmore, Aughnacliffe and the surrounding area may experience low water pressure, temporary water discolouration or intermittent disruptions to water supply between 8.30 am and 5pm from Monday 15 September to Friday 19 September.

Uisce Éireann’s Water Operations Lead David Gibbons said, “ We understand the inconvenience caused by these essential works. Every effort will be made to limit the impact on the water supply to local homes and businesses. We would like to thank the local community in advance for their support and patience.”
