Uisce Éireann advises customers in Ballyseedy of disruption to water supply

Customers in Ballyseedy near Tralee may be experiencing water outages due to a burst main. 

Uisce Éireann crews are on site carrying out repairs. It is estimated that repairs will be completed by 10pm this evening.

The following townlands are affected: Ballyseedy, Gortbrack East, Ballycarty, Ballymacthomas, Curraghmacdonagh, Knockavinnane, Kilquane, Ballinorig, Kylebeg, Clogherclemin, Ballynahinch, Lissoleen, Ballinknock, Ballyfinoge, Rathanny, Potaley, Parearagh, Ballybrannagh and Cahercullenegh. 

Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers affected by an unplanned outage. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
