Uisce Éireann advises of essential overnight restrictions in Ashbourne

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Ashbourne and surrounding areas that essential overnight restrictions are being introduced tonight to allow reservoir levels to recover following an electrical fault at the Primatestown Booster Pumping Station.

The restrictions are being put in place from 11pm tonight (Saturday) until 7am tomorrow morning (Sunday) to ensure a continuous daytime supply of water is available for homes and businesses in Ashbourne and surrounding areas.

Darren Fulham, Uisce Éireann Operations Technical Lead for Meath, thanked affected customers for their co-operation.

“We understand the impact of overnight restrictions and we want to assure affected customers that we are working to ensure that supply levels are restored to normal as soon as possible,” said Darren.
