Uisce Éireann repairs underway following water outage in Ferrybank

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are currently on site in Ferrybank, working to repair a valve failure that has resulted in a water outage affecting the area.

The outage is affecting water supply to Uisce Éireann customers in parts of Bishops Grove, Ferrybank and surrounding areas.

It is estimated that repairs will be complete by midnight.

Uisce Éireann’s Maura Phelan has assured affected customers that the supply will be restored as quickly as possible.

“We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the outage, and we thank affected customers for their understanding while our crews work to restore normal supply to their homes and businesses,” said Maura.

Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for the regular supply to be restored to all customers affected by an outage. However, it may take longer for regular supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
