Supply returning for customers supplied by Lissava Water Treatment Plant
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Water supply is returning to normal in Tipperary following a technical issue at Lissava Water Treatment Plant, which caused supply disruptions for Uisce Éireann customers in Lissava, Cahirabbey Upper and the surrounding areas on Sunday.
It typically takes three to four hours for the regular supply to be fully restored to all areas as the water refills the network, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.
As the network refills and supplies return throughout the day, customers at the end of the network may experience intermittent disruption or low water pressure for a number of hours. Customers may also experience short-term discolouration to their supply. For more information, customers can visit the Discoloured water section of our website.
Uisce Éireann’s Anthony Phelan said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding while crews worked to restore supply to impacted areas.”
