What is DEI?
DEI is about fairness, respect and making sure everyone has the opportunity to succeed at work. At Uisce Éireann, our DEI programme helps us build a workplace where people are treated fairly, respected for who they are, and supported to do their best work.
What is ibelong?
ibelong is Uisce Éireann’s employee-led DEI programme. Established in 2019, it brings together our DEI Council and Employee Resource Groups to help make our workplace more diverse, fair and inclusive. The programme is sponsored by our People & Safety Director, Dawn O’Driscoll, and Business Services Director, Michael G O’Sullivan.
Our five ibelong Employee Resource Groups are employee-led networks where colleagues can connect, share experiences and discuss topics linked to gender, culture, family life, ability and identity. They help build community across Uisce Éireann, give employees a voice, and support practical action to make our workplace more inclusive.
